Dumb driver of the week

This is a new weekly feature we will have on Going Around in Ovals we hope you will enjoy it:

This weeks winner is a Grandmother from Marathon, Fl (which is in the Florida Keys) who decided to give her 3-year old granddaughter a ride of a lifetime by leting her ride on the roof of her car. The grandmother now faces child abuse charges.

Note from your friendly editor

Hello all, long time, no post. Yeah, life for me lately has been a bit busy so getting to work on this blog has been hard to do, but I'm back and ready to work again. As you may notice the name of this place has change and the format will change as well. I won't be posting news as much as I use to, instead I will focus more on writing articles and rants and the news will come through link dumps instead. But the good news is that the theme and the author of this blog will remain the same and that is all that really matters.

Back in the Saddle Again

Hey I'm back its been a while. The move for me went pretty smoothly, but I just got lazy and decided to take a little more time off than expected. So while I'm flattered with the creative rumors of what happened with me the last few weeks ranging from being kidnap by terriorsts to being anal-probed by aliens, they are just not true. So lets get back to buisness, shall we?

Flashback: 1994 Slick 50 300

Great battle between Dale Earnhardt and Ricky Rudd in the final 8 laps of the 1994 race at New Hampshire. TNN's Mike Joy, Buddy Baker and Kenny Wallace are there for the call:

This guy really loves his Dexys Midnight Runners

But seriously would to try to film someone while driving a car on the Interstate?

Babe of the Week: French Grand Prix Girls

Since today has been kind of a slow news day, I decided that I should introduce a new feature called Babe of the Week. Which is pretty much where I put pictures of hot girls from around the motorsports world. So our first babe of the week goes to some hot girls seen around during the French Grand Prix Weekend. Credits go to my good friend Barre for uploading these fine pics.

What the...

Valentino Rossi took a home victory yesterday in the Italian Grand Prix in Mugello. While we know the MotoGp rider is talented, I can't really say much about his choice in helmets. That guy looks petrified.

This just in...

Apparently NASCAR drivers need sustenance to make it through these long and hard testing days. Here is a picture of Kasey Kahne during a lull at testing today in Pocono. I'm no expert, but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express once and I'll say that is food that Mr. Kahne is taking in and I bet it was very yummy.

Who knew, drivers are people just like you and I. Just goes to show that you learn something everyday.

Seriously folks, do we really need pictures of that? Kyle Busch wasn't doing anything dumb?

I feel dirty now

Here's a new feature I'm doing, every week I'll pick one weird music video that will make you question the sanity of the human race. This week Will Hatcher would like to remind you that before you make "love in the club" you need to "Scrub in the Tub". Word.

Pray for Mojo

Tony Stewart has had to part ways with his monkey, Mojo this week after Mojo has recently shown signs that he is growing up and becoming to aggressive to be kept as a pet. Stewart though found a good home for Mojo at the Louisville Zoo. Which is a happier ending than when I had to part ways with my montior lizard, Mr. Happy. I relased him into the wild and now the number of missing pets in my nieghborhood has increased, its not my fault that my lizard probably found Ol' Yeller to be delcious.
